AFTER THE FINAL OFF-LINE MOP UP ROUND OF COUNSELING

 

A spot admission for vacant seats arising after the final Mop up round held on 05/09/2017, to the BDS programs offered at constituent colleges of Manipal University namely, Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCODS), Manipal and Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCODS), Mangalore is scheduled simultaneously in the following three venues for the convenience of the eligible candidates seeking admission to the vacant seats, as given below:

Eligibility:

Candidates should satisfy the eligibility requirement as per the NEET Information Brochure 2017.  Also, only candidates who are in the un-allotted list for Off-Line Mop-Up published by DGHS on 28/08/2019, 01/09/2017 and any revision thereafter by DGHS up to the date of the Spot round are eligible.  The BDS program eligibility will be as defined by the regulations prescribed by Dental Council of India (DCI) for admission to UG Dental course. 

 

PROCESS OF ADMISSION:

 

Candidate's presence along with the Original documents and payment is mandatory during the Admission Process.

 

1.      The following original documents are to be submitted for verification:

 

Documents Check Lists:

·         NEET Score Card

·         NEET rank card

·         NEET Hall Ticket/Admit Card

·         10th standard marks card for proof of date of birth

·         Marks card of 10 + 2

·         12th Pass Certificate

·         Conduct and Character certificate obtained on the School/College letter head/pad. No other certificate in lieu of this will be accepted.

·         Transfer Certificate or School/College Leaving Certificate issued by the School/College. No other certificate in lieu of this will be accepted.

·         Fees: As applicable for the programme

·         Copy of Pan Card (Parent & Candidate)

·         Copy of Aadhar Card Candidate of candidate.

·         Two recent and identical passport size photographs

·         One  set of self-attested photocopies of all the above documents

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

·         There will be active verification of the NEET All India Rank (UR) submitted by the candidate with the information available in the NEET website (cbseresults.nic.in). Candidate whose NEET all India rank does not match with the information in the NEET website will be disqualified for the counselling process. 

 

 

 

2.      FEES:

* The candidate has to remit Caution Deposit and 1st Installment fee on allotment of seat.

 

3.      MODE OF PAYMENT:

The first year course fees (INR) should be paid by crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘Manipal Academy of Higher Education’ payable at Manipal or Udupi (Karnataka).  

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Part payment or payment in installment is not permitted. Non-payment of the first year fees on the day of counselling will result in instantaneous forfeiture of seat.  

 

WARNING

Applicants are warned against possible cheating by unscrupulous agencies that may put out misleading advertisements in newspapers or approach by other means, promising and assuring seats for various courses for monetary considerations or by extracting large sum of money from candidates / parents. Manipal University wishes to authoritatively refute all such misleading false claims and advertisements. We have no agents or middlemen for admissions.

 All admissions are subject to fulfillment of all the eligibility conditions by the candidate. If it is found at a later stage, during active verification, that the candidate has given false information/certificate or is found to have concealed some information his/her admission will be cancelled without any notice. It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility requirements for the course/s applied.
